“Quitanderia” is a coffee shop in Brazil serving traditional Brazilian food with a contemporary look. Its target audience are people who are passing by on their way to work or school and don’t have enough time to stop and eat and are looking for a break on their routine.

The brand is the visual representation of the african term “Kitanda”, that means a tray where people displayed, on public markets, their goods for sale, usually food.

As time went by, in Brazil the word became "Quitanda", which means everything you eat with coffee: cakes, cookies and cheese bread, a traditional Brazilian snack.
